JOINT TRUST

Joint trust is a living trust established together by a married couple to combine assets and control their disposition
A  Joint trust gives the surviving spouse the total power in management of trust and is not subject to probate.
The trust eliminates the necessity  for conservatorship proceedings if you become incompetent. Your Co-Trustee or Successor Trustee named in your trust will acquire  the management of the Trust and manage the trust assets during disability or incompetency of a trustee. The trust is also intended  to remove (or decrease) estate taxes at the deaths of the husband and wife.
