Green Card is a US resident's card which serves as a proof of individual's legitimate permanent status in the USA. Green Card gives you the right to live and work permanently in the USA. Green Card holders can travel abroad for a certain period of time and after some time can apply for a USA citizenship. Furthermore, an individual holding a Green Card has the right to petition for his/her spouse and any unmarried children under 21 years old.
